Allen Wood Consults is owned and operated by Davis Allen Wood, a certified sommelier, born and raised in College Station, Texas, and who cut his teeth in some of the best restaurants around the state. From building 40+ page wine lists from scratch, to opening and tasting bottles of wine worth over $15,000+, Davis has built a sophisticated understanding of the fine wine market in ways very few could hope to afford to replicate. He not only has years of experience in some of the best cellars in the world, but millions of dollars of tasting experience to back it up.
Our goal as a company is to provide accessibility to an industry that is inherently inaccessible by design. How could any individual that doesn’t do this for a living possibly hope to keep up with the ebbs and flows of the market, drinking windows, vintage quality, and producer qualities of every major wine region in world? How do you know if you’re gonna like a wine you’ve never tried? These are the questions we answer for you.
